A full time job is a full time job.

If he was gonna earn big bucks then it would be madness, but for a few grand its pointless really as he could jeopardise his career.

understandable but why does the article make a big deal about the wbo inter-continental piece of junk? also refers to the wbu trinket as a real world title. lazy, lazy journalism.

There is also of course the reason that Mitchell would destroy Limond if they fought.

Will he be half arsed for his British title fight though. At least he is being open and upfront and not messing Mitchell around - he doesn't fancy it.

Amir Khan should give Limond a re-match after that long count in the first meeting. Limond was the first man to beat him, the ref was incompetent. :bag:

yea that was terrible , The ref basically held him up dusted him down , fixed his hair and let him continue ( slight exaggeration but you know what i mean )

Limond would give michell a decent match i think
but clearly weighing up his options he reckons he can make more doing his day job .

Maybe the cash on offer for the fight isnt the best.

That article makes me laugh. His trainer refers to him as 'the forgotten man'. Well I'm not suprised when he turns down opportunities like that. Or maybe he is protecting himself because Mitchell would destroy him, let's be honest here.

I thought it was off because Jennings has injured his hand, I think allegedly is looking to land Brook a World title (WBO) eliminator

Limmond would be stopped inside 2 rounds.
It would be a mismatch.
No point in taking a month off of work to train to get plastered round the ring.
I would imagin limmond is a better joiner than a boxer

I'd imagine that you're better at talking sh!t than sense.

It took Khan and Arthur 8 rounds a piece to get rid of Limond and neither of those fights were mismatches. I think you're over-rating Mitchell and his power by a country mile

Limond is not considered a puncher is he???
I can see Mitchell walking through him and yes my estimations of him have gone up from his last fight.

I would reply to your insult about me spouting shit but i cant be bothered because you obviously have issues and you are obviously off of school because of the snow :OhYes:

Oh I see what you're saying now, Mitchell will be able to stop Limond 6 rounds quicker than Arthur and Khan could because ........... 'Limond is not considered a puncher'

Limond's a very good British level operator IMO, so I thought you were harsh to say he was a 'better joiner than boxer'. Unless he's done some 'World Class' joinery jobs that you've been privy to

Limond is more elusive than Scott Lawton, who stayed in there with Murray for a few rounds, and Limond wouldn't make the mistake of standing and fighting with Murray, either.

I have to agree with that. Its not as if its a short notice job. The money he's getting for the boxing surely he could employ someone else and still make some dough.

Seems to me more focussed on being the guy who got "jobbed" against Khan than progressing.

As I implied, no sign of his work commitments damaging his British title opportunitiy - or is that because it will probably be against a lesser opponent.
