BRAHMER FIGHTS SAT NIGHT

Post by MightyWarrior »

On one of the German channels, last decent fight before christmas? Belgium always has a show on boxing day.
The "Hundred year talent" he's billed as, and he's also a nutter outside the ring apparently. he tends to fight between spells in the nick, so he's probably got another one comin up over christmas.

Should be good to watch Brahmer is entertaining (bit wild) but worth watching. Get the use out of the foreign box thing :TU:

He's a bit of a borderline psychopath I reckon, a very mad look in his eyes, even when his PR peeps are desperately trying to get him to smile at press conferences. I like watching him, one of my favorite fighters, but wouldn't want to meet him that's for sure. knocked out Hatton in a round in the amateurs

I`ve refereed him a couple of times. Always very respectful of the job that I had and was quite easy to referee.

looks like a great fight; to see highlights follow the link

get him in there with erdei. that WBO belt is a present from erdei. erdei should win another belt when he comes down from cruiser, then they can unify and surely it would be big over there.

it was a very good fight Brahmer landed the more effective blows but the other guy landed more but seemed to lack a bit of confidence and started to look nervous early. Brahmer should of been stopped in the 10th he was all over the place if it was the other way around it almost definetly would of been stopped and the cut was horrible again if it was the other way around it would of been stopped but Brahmer hung on and got the decision it was a lot closer than the cards said i had t 115-112 to Brahmer

agree with Alex, thought it was going to be stopped in the 10th, Braehmer was getting pummeled and was giving nothing back. Def if it had of been the other way around it would have been stopped. I like Braehmer though, great heart, wouldn't like to be in the opposite corner though

Ref Michael Ortega completely bottled it in the 10th, too scared to step in and stop the local hero, who was getting an absolute battering.

It was unbelieveable really, Brahmer was stunned and frozen to the spot, hands up but shipped over 50 shots full on, and threw not one punch back himself. His face slowly turned completely red with blood as he stood there taking the punches.
Then the ref FINALY stops it, but just to give him a break and have the cut inspected. A real jaw dropping preformance by Ortega, he's got to be taken to task over that.

Amazing guts by Brahmer though, who comes back from oblivion and wins the final two rounds, somehow.

i honestly believe Clev has enough boxing ability to beat Brahmer. i might be overrating him though as Brahmer is a tough proven Euro level fighter who has shown guts and heart to come back to win but Clev does have enough ability to win
