BELL !

Post by Lethaleigh76 »

Tim Bell has had the OPBF and PABA titles and made a couple of descent defences, do you think he ready for something big :box:

It depends what you mean by big. If big is a rematch with Porky Lovett, then yes. If big is Chad Dawson, then no.

Bell is a decent domestic level fighter, he as good heart and a great motor, but I haven't seen anything from him that tells me he will make any noise on the world scene.

Not sure what sort of dictionary you have, but me definition of "hammered" is a little different.

2008-10-05 : Daniel Lovett 172½lbs lost to Tim Bell 173¼lbs by TKO in round 8 of 12
Location: Peninsula, Shed 14 Central Pier, Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Referee: Dave Hedgcock
Judge: Allan McColl 66-68
Judge: Gus Mercurio 65-67
Judge: Tony Marretta 67-67

Bell cut over left eye from punch in round 2 and over right eye in round 5 from accidental head clash. Lovett copped a solid punch to the temple near end of round 7. Unable to fully recover, starting next round, trainer Jimmy Slatter threw-in the towel @ 0:15

I think this title he's fighting for, might put him close to a mandatory for the WBA title, either Campillo or Shumenov.

I expect McConville to really trouble Porky, what a fight to take for McConville.....I'm tipping draw.

Looks like Bell's next opponent is Ramon Pedro Moyano whose last fight was a KO loss to Eric Lucas. He also has a loss to Omar Eduardo Gonzalez, Cristian Sanavia and Jose Alberto Clavero...

He does have a win over Josh Clenshaw though.
