Paulie is finally getting the exposure he deserves (shame Patrick can't match that) and is aiming big in 2010, including a crack at the EU belt in Italy. Any thoughts?

My first thought is - how?

How are they going to make this fight happen, Wayne wants big bucks and Pa Hyland aint got it unfortunately.

This NEEDS to be big year for all three Golden Corba men.

I always considered Paulie to be the least talented of the brothers but his recent stoppage of Heagney was impressive. Pajo is my favourite fighter out of the three but it's a pity he isn't in the limelight as much as the other two. Eddie's battle with Fagan certainly raised his profile and maybe a biggish fight involving a British fighter is whats needed to raise Pajo's profile- a fight against Choi Tsev. would be a good option as it's a recognised name but a name that is nearly 40 and very beatable.

As for Paulie, I think the fight against the Italian is very winnable judging by his record. Munroe will more than likely be after vacating the EBU and made the move up to World by the time Hyland gets to that level so would that leave the option for a Hyland-Dunne EBU fight? For what it's worth I think Bernard would give him a boxing lesson for 12 rounds.

If Paulie doesnt stop him inside 7 then I will roll eyes and pull my mouth to the left.

Before anyone has a go at Slapbangwhallop he's almost certainly talking about Paulie v the Italian here and not v Dunne.

I think when Munroe vacates the European Jason Booth will be one of the 2 men contesting it(as long as he beats Marsh anyway) as he's mandatory and after that we currently have:
1.Maludrottu
2.Dunne
3.Martinez
4.Parodi
5.Quigg
6.Hunter
7.Matirosyan
8.Hyland
9.Marsh
10.Yagdarov

I think Dunne would have a right to feel aggrieved if Maludrottu got a European shot before him.
