evidence???

Post by boxerbob »

what evidence is there of pacman taking peformance enhancing drugs????

does mayweather see pacman performing very well vs de la hoya , hatton and cotto????

maybe thats just good form????

so anyone that shows good form and that can move up in weight and fight well might be on drugs???

there is no evidence of foul play from pacman - that is a fact

to prove allegations , you need facts - pacman has passed every test , there is no need for additional testing

end of story

mayweather = coward , retire from the sport please

Pac's refusal to take the sort of testing that is hard to cheat on (vs the typical tests which are fairly easy to cheat your way around) is pretty good evidence. If he wasn't afraid of the results he would take the tests.

He either takes the tests and passes, or he will probably go down in history as a drug cheat.

Think about it; if he was truly clean, why on earth would he walk away from FORTY MILLION DOLLARS? The only logical conclusion in my opinion is that he knows he won't pass.

Excatly. Why would he lose $40 million for a teaspoon of blood? Why is he now suing Mayweather? When all they have done is ask for a test?

Me too.

Secondly - and someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.... but isn't the point of a blood test to test for Growth Hormone, as opposed to steroids. HGH being a substance that won't show up under normal testing but will in blood?

I don't see why Pacquiao doesnt just take the test if he has nothing to hide, I dont see what Mayweather has done wrong by asking to do a thorough drugs test to make sure the fight is fought on even terms

Because he has no reason to doubt him, imagine if Hatton had asked for this prior to Mayweather-Hatton, how do you think Mayweather would have responded? and the answer is not he would have simply taken the test without making a fuss. Nobody has reason to suspect Pacqauio of anything.
But if Pac has nothing to hide then just do it. I know its mind games by Mayweather getting his way but Pac should just do it imo

I hope Pacquiao successfully sue's Mayweather Promotions, Golden Boy Promotion's and any other organisation who's representatives have set about destroying the reputation of Manny Pacquiao. I hope he takes them to the cleaners!

Its a fcuking disgrace and anyone reasoning with Mayweather's side needs their head read. This all started with a few comments from a man with an IQ of approximately 27, Floyd Mayweather Sr, and look where we are at now, ripping apart the reputation of one of our greatest ever boxers. Its a disgrace and anyone accussing Pacquiao of taking performance enhancing drugs should be ashamed of themselves.

So many dumb fcuk fans right now seem to think they know all about how easy it is to cheat the current tests carried out by the Nevada State Athletic commisssion, listening to them you'd think they've all got degrees in medicine. Internet wizard's everywhere, all flashing their big IQ's and backing it up with nothing factual.

If all the fans and media would stop giving Mayweather their support and leaning on Pacquiao to take the tests, its highly likely that Mayweather would drop his demands and get on with signing the contract. Its your support thats derailed this fight, dont you fcuking get that?

This has gone to far and needs to be brought to a swift end. However, that seems highly unlikely!! With the amount of moron's i've witnessed chipping in on this situation over the last week, it seems Mayweather can rest easy for years to come, fighting B+ fighters till he's 40!

if he doesn't agree to take the tests then it makes his wins over de la hoya cotto and hatton questionable if he's not to hide he should take the test

You don't need anything fancy to beat drug tests, I dread to think how many sportsmen and women are getting away with illegal drug use by showing the testers this...

Actually there is a very good reason to suspect him ... the very fact he has moved up from flyweight to welterweight and demolished heavier guys at the heavier weight.

Can you name me another boxer in the long history of the sport who has moved from flyweight to welter and demolished the heavier guys? or somebody that has moved up through the weights who has looked stronger and heavier hitting the heavier they fight??

Nobody had done to ODLH, Hatton or Cotto what the Pacman did ... and all guys had fought naturally heavier guys previously.

I really hope he is clean of any performace enhancing drugs - but if he turns down a $40million one off fight just over having his blood sampled ... it does make you very suspicious :wink:

Suspicious = Yes
Evidence = No
Fact = No
Cheat = Unproven.

If he is in fact willing to undergo all testing impossed by the Governing body then that should be sufficient for FMJ.

For $40 million I would fight Pacman if he was welding a bloody Smith and Wesson 45mm :lol:

Very few people have gone up through the weights, but that doesn't mean its impossible. Just have to be exceptional to do it.

Thats what seperates the good from the great

it's down to the governing body to make the fighters take drug tests not mayweather ??
i did read that the pac man didn't like to have blood tests as he though/thinks it makes him weak but he would be happy to do urine tests??

Agreed :TU:

But he moved up to face guys who had passed all previous tests against bigger guys - and totally demolished them in a previously unseen fashion.
Its not as if he moved up to welter in his early 20`s when he - like most other people - are naturally growing. He moved up when he was close to 30yrs old ... an age when you don`t normally have some kind of growth spurt.

I think, if he had nothing to hide. The best thing to do would be to say yes to the blood tests. Nothing to hide - nothing to worry about. And i`m sure it would scare Floyd more to know the guy was 100% naturally great :TU:

His argument that he thinks its silly to take additional tests to the ones that have been used for the last couple of decades only highlighhts how old the system of checking really is.

Boxing has progressed. As have the safety precautions. Surely the checks should progress also?

Actually no, it's not evidence at all. And he cannot go down in history as a drugs cheat without being caught first. Simple. :TU:
You don't need to be caught doing anything for a cloud of suspicion to hang over you. We are not talking about convicting him in a court here, just how history will consider his refusal to try and clear his name. In the court of public opinion nothing else will be needed for his entire career to be thrown into question.

Stop bleating!!! :roll: :roll:

This is where I stand with all of this - I think Team Mayweather wanted to find something to "rattle" "Team Pacman" and by accident or coincidence they have fallen upon something that has really touched a nerve big time both with people within the sport and those who support it - I think all of this drugs thing was just drummed up purely to get peoples backs up - however - with the amount of bleating that has been done concerning "the refusal" from Team Pacman - there will be many people who cannot help but think - is there something in this??

I sincerely hope Pacman agrees to take the tests - and then upon the successful completion he takes the necessary corrective action he feels the urge to take.

If he doesn't take the tests - I am sorry but Team Mayweather will have without any shadow of doubt have the moral high ground - that could easily be turned by Pacman agreeing to the tests and then I will repeat to take whatever action he and his team wish to take.

For the sake of "boxing" I sincerely hope Pacman calls "Team Mayweather" bluff and takes the tests - I am sure he has nothing to worry
about!! - if he doesnt - whether you or any other boxing fan likes it or not it will have put an undoubted cloud over the sport when really there is no need for it

If by 'court of public opinion', you mean you, then sure.

Fact is, Paqcuiao is now being asked to clear a name that was never dirty. He shouldn't have to disprove allegations made by others, when he's never been shown to have cheated. The burden of proof shouldn't be on the accused, that strikes me as a fairly simple legal tenet.

This is true. I've only just caught up on this, but you can certainly put it down to Manny not wanting to be bullied by the Mayweathers,if you choose, seeing as he's apparently willing to be tested in the normal boxing manner, but not the Olympic one ( if I've got that right?) which means tests all over the place, including weigh in.

But the ugly question has reared it's head, and I can't remember such high profile people in boxing questioning a world champ over "steroids" so openly before. Weird, as you're really putting your head on the chopping block with that one.

Many described Manny's win over Cotto as "super human" - and this seems to be their answer.
We can maybe thank the sprinters for that.

I'm inclined to believe he's clean, maybe because I really want to, because the alternative is unthinkable really - a real tragedy if it turns out to be true. Now the thought's there, it's hard to shake.

I agree with every single word of the above!!!

Mayweather started with a "wind up" which has opened up a possible horrible can of worms!!
