Poor post.

Who is going to enforce the blood test after the fight? What if Pacman shoots some HGH or EPO into his system 2-3 days before the fight and then does a number on FLoyd (highly unlikely but what if) and then after the fight says, "I did enough tests, I'm not giving any more blood".

What is going to happen then?

As for saying mayweather thinks Pacman will beat him... LOL, do you know anything about a boxers mentality? Especially someone like Floyd.

Why all of a sudden should it be the standard for all 'big' fights? Just because a few people are sniping about Pacman? If it is good for boxing and the safety of all involved it should be an across the board rule but I don't see why it should only come in now just because of a witch-hunt against Pacman.

i see it as if pac man has got nothing to hide, then why shouldnt he take the blood test.
If the fight completely falls through, then the rumours are going to follow him until he retires.

I am not sure of the costs asssociated with the 'Test' but if it were cheap enough for all promoters then it should be done in all fights!!!

PBF has just brought it to the masses, Pacman should take the test.

Agree 100% DG :TU:

It seems people are going around in circles out of blind loyalty to Manny Pacman :witzend:

As DG says .. all big fights .. I`d say, all world title fights. If costs are a factor. Sancioning fees should be put to better use.

Why the uproar - is it a backlash to Floyd? we all know that there is use of performance enhancing drugs being abused by certain boxers, giving them unfair advantages.

This is no slight against Pacman. He should use the oppurtunity to show how clear he is, and show to others tempted that you don`t need these drugs etc to reach the top.

fornicate me! I thought I'd stumbled into the current scene when I saw the title, is that what the forum has come to now eh?

Gayweather? How long before we see "Fagman, Sheguel Cotto, Pavdick" in here?

Oh and if I were in Pacquiaos shoes being accused of something I'm not guilty of then my first action would be to prove I'm not guilty and then sue every last one of the people who accused me of it.

These are not bad demands from where Im sitting and he's willing to undergo the exact same testing!! These kind of tests should be compulsary anyway!! These are some of the best paid athletes in history so they should be tested thoughrally!!

Imagine Usain Bolt saying no to a drugs test We'd all call him a drug cheat wouldn't we!! But Pac Man says no and people don't say nothing because he generates so much money. I think he should be tested and I also think Mayweather should be tested too!!

All boxers should be tested as we were when we were amateurs..

they are changing the rules for dope-testing in footy too arent they? so changes can be made, just have to draw the line... because it will make things stupidly expensive to have all boxers under scrutiny... they are asking footballers to tell the WADA where they are for one hour of every day... if you did that to just those boxers in the top 10-15 of the WBA WBC IBF WBO, thats a lot of fighters but its also the 'role models' as it were for everyone else, if they get caught you wouldnt do it at a lower level then stop, just in case it left you below the level you thought you were at.

No doubt about it, the sport should be 100% clean. But why has no-one ever questioned Mayweather's rise through the weight divisions? And what happens when another boxer demands all sorts of tests...do we have to bow down to them? It's going to get out of hand in my opinion. I just don't see why all of a sudden the rules have to be changed for this particular fight.

Prove me if I'm wrong but I can't recall any of you banging on about drug testing procedures UNTIL Mayweather did.

A urine test afterward is not enough. Plenty of athletes can pass tests after an event, because they have already stopped taken the performance enhancing drugs and gained the benefits during training. Its well known that many dopers stop a month before competition.

I find Mannys reaction to Floyds requests rather alarming - all this stuff about not wanting to have it done 30 days before the fight - whyever not.

If he has nothing to hide, he should agree to the requests in my opinion.
