In a decade which has also seen Lewis, Naz, Hatton and Calzaghe?
Wouldn't even have Froch as fighter of the year having lost both his fights.
I'd agree with you about Dirrell, but he beat Taylor fair enough. In a fight scheduled for 12 rounds, the points advantage after 11 rounds, two minutes and 46 seconds doesn't count!

Right, but being floored and down on the cards going into the final round is far from a great performance, maybe a great finish, but overall not worthy of earning Froch any type of consideration for fighter of the decade. That is reserved for the British greats like Calzaghe, Hatton and Lewis, and Naz, even if the last two retired in 2002/2003, they are more deserving than Froch.

I'd go with Calzaghe for fighter of the decade, if we were talking about who did more overall I'd go with Lewis.
