Two interesting points:

Danny told me that Williams telephoned him and told him to pull out on the morning of the fight with a cold to screw up Henessys show.

And Henessy had options on him win or lose after alway's stating that he wouldn't agree to options for his fighters and as a result many a big fight hasn't happened.

Williams at least admits he know FA about boxing, he's a sleeze-ball.

Read this quick because it criticises John Shepards employer so will be taken down no doubt!

And I'm sure Danny really appreciates you disclosing that on a public forum in this manner. Classy.

As an outsider reading all the interviews and stuff, I can see where the Hattons are coming from. End of the day it isn't good career management is it to lose a tough 10 rounder 2 weeks earlier, then step in against a top class operator for £12k.

I would think it would be better for him to have gone away, come back in some lesser fights, got his experince better, matured a bit then come again for the title shots in a couple of years. Who knows what is truly going on between the lines, but from the outside view I'd say Hatton just want their boxers to be professional and this all comes across very unprofessional, as a way to manage the career of a 22 year old prospect.

I would say the kid Butler sounds likehe;s got too many diferent people in his ear telling him what is best and he;d be better to trust the experience and career guidance of someone liek Hatton and their promotional team, I know if I was a boxer I would.
