Vote for Fight of the Year

You may or may not agree but the Bernard Dunne v Ricardo Cordoba fight was in my opinion the fight of the year.

However it was never shown in the US and aint getting much recognition.

Now I know many of you will have other ideas with regards which is the best fight (here is my personal Top 10)

Martin Lindsay-Paul Appleby
Tony Quigley-Tony Dodson

But seen as its a local boys and its the only European fight listed I was hoping it might get a bit of support!

I know it was a year for a lot of cancelled/postponed fights but there really were some humdingers in there..My top 3 favourites were:

1] Dunne-Cordoba
2] Moore-Rhodes
3] Lopez-Mtagwa

I think Diaz-Marquez will probably get the official nod. I agree with you, if Dunne-Cordoba had of been in the States or even Britian it would probably be a dead cert for FOTY.

HBO did a year end segment and actually named Cordoba-Dunne as the best all action fight of the year.
