Fight of the year - Renda v Samuels

Round of the year - Round 2 of the above fight.

British fighter of the year - Jason Booth, didn't think he would get to where he is when he came back, and cant wait to see where he goes in 2010.

Prospect of the year - Frankie Gavin - didn't think he would take to the pro game so well, look forward to seeing him in the new year.

Biggest Bum of the year - Not really a bum, but was disappointed with Broadhurst, all the hype, and he was shocking against Haskins.

Fight of the Year: Dodson/Quigley- Had an entire city buzzing
Round of the Year: Samuels/Renda 2- This was the first fight I covered with an official press pass. I doubt I'll ever see a better show-opener.
Prospect of the Year: Although not as busy as he'd like to be, George Groves just looks exceptional everytime I watch him.
Fighter of the year: Carl Froch-Won title in excellent manner then defended it twice against good opposition.
Dissapointment of the Year: Anthony Small-Excellent against Matty Hall then done everything he could to eliminate that excellent win by stinking out joint against Thomas McDonagh

Fight
Moore v Rhodes.
Not often you get the best British boxers in their division putting it all on the line.
They could have avoided each other - they didn't.
And what a feast they put on for us.
Round
Round 7 of the above fight - shock, horror !
Prospect
Kel Brook - can we still call him a prospect ?, and George Groves.
Fighter of the Year.
It has to be Rhodes doesn't it ?!
Dissapointment
Rhodes having to pull out aganst Small.
Oh how I would have loved to see him spark the loudmouth.
Sam Webb - do your stuff.

British Fight of the Year- Ryan Rhodes vs Jamie Moore it had everything both showed skill, heart and desire. And the turnaround was brilliant

Round of the year- Cello Renda vs Paul Samuels round 2 edge of the seat stuff both giving there all, getting hurt and hurting the other man

Fighter of the Year- Jason Booth and Amir Khan
Booth- What a turnaround from coming from nowhere to win the British title in great style and he's put on some masterful performances.
Khan- Coming back from the Prescott defeat to beat Barerra albeit an old one he still put on a great display and then the brilliant display against Kotelnik when he won everything from the 1st bell to the last. Before blowing out Salita easily.

Prospect of the Year- Frankie Gavin, look's excellent very well schooled and with fast hands and a composed style. Also Josh Wale always gives it a good go ahs a very good workrate he took the title challenge and lost but made a good display of himself for a 22 year old.

Bum of the year- Mathew Ellis no longer tries just goes for the payday and rolls over now without giving an argument
