Cook vs Bami

When was this fight announced, I thought the Lynes bill featured Cook AND Bami, I read on secondsout it is Cook vs Bami.

Good fight this one, tough one to call - any thoughts?

Close to call, I think Bami will be a bit too heavy handed for Cook. 3rd rd KO.

Thats just my opinion though.

Should be one hell of a bust up, I'm Praying that I get to see it.

Live or on TV.

I love these 50/50 fights.

deffo a 50/50 fight, i slightly lean towards cook. will this be at light welter? i suppose it has to be with cooks lightweight weight making difficulties. I hear Bami cuts a mean hair cut so all is not lost if he loses!

Secondsout report that the winner of this will fight for the IBO Light Welter title, whether it is an official eliminator (and therefore a Light Welterweight contest) - I don't know.

Chado - The fight might well be on Bravo, the main event will be but who knows what Bravo's coverage will be like.

I think Bami puts Cook in a horizontal position within 6 minutes.

Bami can be hurt himself don't forget, and he does leave himself open when punching. He has a big punch but too often he just fires off the big shots with no set up shot.

I would have picked Cook a few fights ago but the Aldo Rios loss or more so the way he lost puts things in a new light. Bami by stoppage for me as well i think.

I'm going for Bami based on Cook's poor last performance. But if he takes the weight change well then it's game on - a big left hook could spark Bami. Proper fight.

Not a bold prediction but my ONLY prediction in this fight is that it will not go past 8.

Its too close to call, I would say the workrate of Cook might trouble Bami, both look to have poor chins. Bami is the bigger man with the harder punch and I would say more skilled. However, Cook is the more experienced and has gone 12 rounds before.

I absolutely haven't got a clue who is going to win this, it will be an inside the distance contest but that the only prediction I make.

This is a good match up , and very hard to pick a winner.
looking at recent matches , you would have to side with Bami.

it could depend how much making weight affected Cook in his last fight, maybe he will suit the higher weight.
Bami does leave himself open for countershots, and can be hurt when hit.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and go for Cook by stoppage. in about 5 rounds. but its not a confident prediction

Tough one to pick.

Bami is a bit chinny - but can bang.

It will end in a KO.. Not sure who wins. Maybe lean towards Cook.
