Will the fight actually happen?

Post by Cossack »

With all this talk of drug tests and the like, I think this fight is in REAL danger. Obviously the next few weeks will be crucial. BUT, I think the March 13th date is looking unlikely.

I thought at the time when the fight was first announced that march was too soon for such a massive fight,it usually takes a few months for the promo tours etc and then 8 weeks training so maybe june time if at all imo

Which would suggest that all this about the olympic style testing, the lawsuit by Pacquiao, etc, has been a ploy to try to generate even more interest in this one.

March 13th is about 10 weeks away. I'm gutteed as that date would have come round in no time at all. Now, I reckon we will probably have to wait until Spetember at least, which is nonsense!

We may have the mouth watering clashes of Mayweather-Hatton Jr & Pacquiao-Malignagi to sit through first
:OhYes:

The fight is too big for it not to happen.

How funny would that be? Just picture Matthew Hatton sparking Floyd out cold, it'd be the funniest moment in the history of boxing, it'd be more absurd than Fan Man landing in the ring all those years ago.

Will it happen?

TBH im past caring now.

The fight was "done in an hour" when the first of 325,000 press releases came out...

..now they are heading to court for drug allegations/ slander ?

I dont even read articles that have the words Pacquiao or Mayweather in them anymore !

Im worried it might not happen it would be a joke if the biggest fight in ages didnt happen due to a problem like whats happening it would be a disgrace and would tarnish everyone involved a little bit
