Raylawpc mentioned in the 2008 thread concerning the Johnson/Norfolk bout in 1926.
He said while trying to research that fight he came across a newspaper article
concerning the Jack Johnson/Brad Simmons fight at 101 Ranch Ponca City OK.
That a newspaper account does exist.However he did not cite which newspaper reference.

I knew that,it was the caption beneath that particular fight here at boxrec listed that what was confusing.
You know someone should really write a detailed book about all of Jack Johnson's official fights and exhibitions
from 1921 to 1946.
It may not have been his prime years but its still boxing history.
