BUSTER AND EDDIE CARROLL!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!
I am looking for any information that someone might have regarding Eddie and Buster Carroll. My grandmother has been tracking down her father "Buster Carroll" for the last ten years and the other day a family stumbled upon both Eddie and Buster's fighter bio's on the website. We have learned of the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame, of which Eddie Carroll was supposed to be inducted to in the 70's but after calling the number given for them online we were told that they had changed numbers and moved to Montreal. Does anyone have any information regarding the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame or Buster and Eddie Carroll. Also Eddie Carroll at one time fought under the name Danny Doran and was also known as Irish. Is there any way that someone could help? I have a grandmother that would very much appreciate it! Thanks so much.

In the last hour I have found that my grandmothers father fought a lot of bouts in Tampa, FL and was from Lowell, Mass. If this helps any please let me know!

Eddie Carroll of Canada - aka Danny Doran - is a different fighter than Eddie Carroll of Lowell, so it's not your great grandfather's brother that's in the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame. Their records have been mixed up in the past, but we've done the best we could to separate the two. Eddie Carroll of Lowell - brother of Buster - was a very good amateur fighter with a relatively short pro career.

On the search for Buster Carroll, note that it is not the same boxer as Eddie Carroll of Ottawa, Canada (also known as Irish Eddie Carroll and Danny Duran). Eddie Carroll was inducted May 17, 1974 in the Boxing Hall of Fame in Ottawa. He was known to fight across the US in his short run.

Eddie Carroll and Danny Doran are the same boxers. My Father fought under Doran for some time, in U S A. Dan Carroll OTTAWA ONT. CANADA

There are two Eddie Carrolls: one from Lowell MA who was the brother of Buster Carroll, the other (also known as Danny Doran) was from Canada.
