Well they say it's a $250,000 dollar purse so I imagine Mundine gets $249,000 and the contender winners gets $1000 worth of tickets to sell...

whyohbee wrote:at it again Anthony ''The Mouth'' Mundine. Speaks before he thinks, isnt capable of anything significant why do people even bother watching his rubbish fights. He hasnt had a real fight in about 15 fights now, apart from Geale. Maybe FOR ONCE he should take on someone who will challenge him and give the punters what they pay for.
Yeah but he thought that would be a walk in the park, he got to Geale before Geale had a chance to develop.

i heard Medleys been doing some hard sparring with Geale, Ganoy and even Kariz
if this fight goes on at a heavier catch weight, Medley will still fight,
theres no way he will pull out

Mundine has been counting on that.

I don't think it would of had a 2nd season if you had to pay for the final!

I read a Deadly Medley interview in the Fist, and while being interviewed he was asked if he's interested in the the contender Jnr Middle this year. of course he was. But still i would like to see this happen once a year with different weight class's.

Bloody oath mate, there would have been massive backlash if it was only on PPV, however I think they should have done more to promote the fact that it was still going to be on Fox 8 instead of letting Mundine promote his PPV has showcasing the Contender final...

Jr middle could be interesting if they get all the good fighters involved. I wonder if they have anyone in mind for them to fight at the end?

I will not have to pay then. I would not cross the street to watch a WBA International fight, and I doubt Choc will make middleweight anyway!

No mate it's already in my planner for next week, little to no advertising has people believing that they have to pay, I wonder if you pay for Mundines crap you get the contender final.

Maybe Deadly Medley if he lays the smack on Mundine  Probably Dawson if he does anything this year, or maybe offer up a $100000 to the winner. The shows done pretty well audience wise i believe, so maybe a few extra dollars could be splashed out for the winner and $25000 for the runner up.

Looking at the list of LT Middles, Medley,Dawson,Davidson,Waters,Bryant,Lo Porto,Luveni,Herimia,Metrevski Jnr, and other fringe fighters that would make for healthy competition.

Mundine, the shame of Australian boxing! Surely Mundine fans have had to have had enough of their fighter trying to call all the shots in Australian boxing to suit his needs and to manipulate another win.
He avoided Geale, why, because he knows Geale had a very good chance of beating him. So he decides to drop weight and have a crack at a lighter division, why, well we all have an answer!
And now Rob Medley, a good honest decent fighter robbed of career fight because this twat wants to be the 'Don King' of Australian boxing and try to rule the outcomes, he's no Don King, more like Don Key. Rob, move past this, build your profile, be the best!

Even if Anthony has no hope of making the weight?

He looks like an Auschwitz inmate at middleweight. That jockey Cassidy that was hired to help him lose weight said he could not see anywhere he could lose weight from.
