Boxintalk days .... anyone remember...

Does anyone on here remember someone called Dan something from old old boxingtalk days. He was an absolute numptey fomr London who thought the to be punched on the temple ment to be hit on the centre of the forehead - amongst other stupid things... something tells me he loved (probably literally) Mayorga, was that his username, something mayorga ? mayorga is dangerous ? maybe?

I think this dates back to before Spud, ben carey, Galaxy, Payne et al came to boxing talk.

I remember, think it may have been on Seconds out, a lad called Jimmy! He once got a NIGERIA 619 EMAIL I had been sent and started comnmunicating with the crooks, he would then post the emails the next morning, it ran for months, it was truly the funniest thing ever on the forum!!

Always liked Lighsoot and Gav, great ruckers, better than some of the trolling we get these days!

I was a poster there back in the day, when you were North Wales, and good old sp3nc3r – what happened to that guy, he was a quality poster.

Also, mayorgaisdangerous was Dan, I remember when the US forum on boxingtalk got a picture of him and photoshopped it with make up. Happy days.

Also remember the photoshop picture with him with rosy cheeks.

Good old days, british forum had about 6 posters at one point, but 6 consistent posters that'd post all day.

He was a Wladimir Klitschko fanatic from some hillbilly part of the states who was a professional piano tuner and once appeared live on stage with Johnny Cash.

I always thought that was a good cover story for a super hero, a mild mannered piano tuner.

I made the same journey in terms of Secondsout,BoxingTalk etc. Don't recall Mayorga either. Half the time I struggle to remember who was on what forum. Some posters that I rated have disappeared over time. Anyone remember Ulysses or Grey Fox? Think the latter actually resurfaced on here recently for a couple of posts before disappearing again. Remember having some good debates with him as disagreed on a couple of occasions but always respected his opinion.
