Whilst I would want Mr Maloney to win - surely the favourite has to be the younger and fitter Griffin!!! :TU:
His one blind eye would surely hinder his coordination though, he probably would miss Frank all night.
my dad boxed as a schoolboy and he only had one eye. :box:

THE FIGHT MALONEY vs GRIFFIN

FRANK MALONEY, UKIP parliamentary candidate for Barking wants to challenge general election rival Nick Griffin to a charity boxing match.

Maloney and Griffin will come face-to-face at the ballot box later this year, but the boxing promoter reckons they should settle their differences in the ring first.

The BNP leader donned the gloves and earned a boxing blue at Cambridge University, while Maloney had 69 amateur contests.

Maloney believes a fight between himself and Griffin would raise thousands of pounds for charity, and says the loser should drop out of the race for Westminster.

Maloney, one of Britain's top professional boxing managers and promoters says: "This is a serious offer I am making to Griffin.

"BNP members have made it clear on internet forums that I shouldn't stand in Barking.

"If they don't want me let Griffin beat me out of the general election in a charity boxing match to be staged in the constituency.

"We would both nominate a local charity and the money raised would go to the organisation nominated by the winner.

"The loser of our fight should suffer and be forced to step down from standing at the general election.

"That would leave the winner in a clear race with Margaret Hodge for the seat in the House of Parliament."

UKIP have high hopes at the next general election and will be bidding to topple the BNP in several key constituencies.

Maloney added: "Griffin spouts evil, but really is just a laughable figure of fun to any decent minded citizen.

"After watching him squirm on Question Time I came to the impression he is like a cartoon baddie in a suit.

"If you took race and religious issues out of the BNP's ideology, they would have nothing to say, not that they do anyway."

Heart attack one week, running for parliament the next and then challenging his rival to a boxing match............ iiiiiiiiiiiiit's Super Frank Maloney!

From Wikipedia
As well as opposition to membership of the European Union, Maloney's priorities include combatting crime and reducing immigration. He also wishes to abolish the Greater London Authority and increase the powers of Mayor of London, and has proposed the legalisation of brothels in order to take prostitution off the streets.

Maloney has received criticism for his comments about lesbian and gay people. During the 2004 London mayoral election, he commented that he would not campaign in Camden because there were "too many gays". He later justified his remarks, telling the BBC "I don't want to campaign around gays...I don't think they do a lot for society...what I have a problem with is them openly flaunting their sexuality." James Davenport, chairman of Gay Conservatives called for Maloney's resignation as UKIP candidate, saying "Frank Maloney is a dangerous extremist and should resign or be sacked as UKIP's candidate for London mayor. UKIP must back or sack their homophobic candidate."

The BNP are a legal and legitimate political party. I would much more like to see Gordon Brown or Tony B Liar beaten up....

I honestly believe they are far worse. Even if you try and look beyond their appalling prejudices their record once they've been elected is utterly shocking. And if you don't believe me, this should help:

Is that true? Or a media myth? (I know not)

PS I find it rather odd that one is able to mock him for being disabled, just because one doesn't agree with his views...

It's true, he admitted that he never used to believe in the hiolocaust.

PS I find it rather odd that he's allowed to spew his anti-semetic words of hate across the country, but hey-ho that's the way it is

My views on Nick Griffin and Muslim extremists are pretty similar

That probably won't happen, the organisation has a thing for announcing marches and not going through with them. All this nonsense about remembering the Afghan dead is a load of complete tosh, the whole thing is a stunt to gain publicity for his tinpot organisation, he's even spoke about calling it off apparently now he's stirred up some controversy.

If the media ignored him like the piece of fascist trash that he is then he'd go away but as long as he keeps getting the headlines other fascists like the BNP gain more support, in more developed countries like China and Russia people like Choudary would have had a bullet put through his head long ago.

It is not up to the media to make moral decisions, just to report (however flawed their choice of story).

Choudary makes an interesting story regardless, and there are deeper issues - IE religion vs Secularism, Islamic theocracy, singular ideology etc
