He was having a pop at Barry McGuigan last night shouting at him because Barry had written a piece telling him to quit.
Was at the black tie do at the Cafe Royal last night, good laugh, and the after party was cracking, myself and Mr McNeilly carried the torch for boxrec.
Had the priviledge of talking to Mr McGuigan last night, nice guy, approachable, wish I'd gotten a picture but the camera was upstairs. Mickey Cantwell was a friendly guy too, and had a dancing competition with Billy Schwer, whose footwork is definetly still good. Not sure who won, but Scwer was certainly throwing himself into it.
Does anyone know the contact details of the BBA that McGuigan and Cantwell are involved with, should have got their number last night but didn't. mainly because I was very......very drunk.

Spoke to McGuigan once, the man was a gentleman. He was running to get back in the studio from ringside. I shout "Barry" expecting a wave, he ran back and shook my hand - could tell me who I was supporting from my accent and said "Don't worry, I'm sure Robinson will bounce back, he just wasn't right tonight".
I would have been happy with a wave because he was clearly busy - but to do that was brilliant.
Carl Thompson was also brilliant that night to me aswell, never will forget - he was more interested in me asking stuff like "How many fights", "How old" etc. Mind you, I don't know if I gave senisble answers being a 16 year old and with Carl's lady friend distracting me.
