Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
If true that's pretty shocking
Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
Its bollocks, if anyone on Mayweather's team had recieved that sort of email they would have produced it by now, they would'nt be able to keep there mouth's shut about it.
I very much doubt anyone on Pacquiao's team would be stupid enough to send that sort of request via email. More likely would be someone on the other team trying their hand at sabotage.

Longer version.. quite entertaining really and a great summary of it all.Plus interview with freddie roach last night and dan raphael.
It sounds very very fishy from the Pacquaio camp to be asking questions like that imo.

but think about it, that went out all accross america last night. Virtually every boxing fan who was watching would have heard that and it really doesn't sound good for pacquaio. It's getting to the stage where he is being seriously questioned now on national television. And now it's all over youtube. He can shut them all up by agreeing to the 14 day cutoff.
Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
Personally if they had this 'damning email' they would have published it by now in their counter-argument.
Enough of this 'sources crap' - if it's legit show it !

Lets look at the facts
1. If Manny has nothing to hide there is no reason to avoid blood testing and losing a tiny vile of blood, clearing his name and earning his 40million
2. Roach said 'take blood 5days away from the fight and we're good', yet 14 days is turned down, why?
3. Manny has the lowest bodyfat, fastest hands and best in the sport. He has also maintained strength and low bodyfat while going up 30lbs in weight classes. The thiness of his skin may indicate hormone usage. These are tell tail signs but could possibly be achieved naturally
4. There is a rumour that Team Pacquaio were asking what the consequences of a failed test would be
5. FloJo, Marion Jones, East German/Soviet Athletes, Morrison, Holyfield and Shane Mosley all never tested positive despite using PEDs but all used them.

There are so many ways to percevieve this agrument take Pacquiao's side that it is an unreasonable request and he has tried to comprimise but failed OR Mayweather asking a good question and Pacquiao if Pacquiao has nothing to hide then he should do the tests.
I personally think Pac should do the tests I dont really think Floyds being too unreasonable

Never failed a test, but:
SI.com reported that the name "Evan Fields" appeared on law enforcement documents reviewed by the Web site in connection with the Mobile investigation. SI.com dialed a phone number associated with "Fields" that was listed on one of the documents, and Holyfield answered the call. "Fields" listed birth date in the document -- Oct. 19, 1962 -- also is the same as Holyfield's.
According to SI.com, the individual who authorities believe to be Holyfield picked up prescriptions that came from Applied Pharmacy. According to records reviewed by SI.com, Holyfield picked up vials of testosterone, two vials of Glukor (a drug believed to be used during and after steroid cycles) and injection supplies. Less than a week later, according to the document, he picked up five vials of Saizen, a brand of HGH, and related supplies.

GAME OVER!

Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
This email thing doesn't make sense. Why would Pacquiao's team ask Mayweather's team to keep quiet even if Pacman failed the test? If Pacman won then Mayweather could bring the results to light and have the win removed. So for that reason alone Pacquiao's team would not send an email asking that.

Well presumably it would be legally binding to not say anything, regardless, is what they are implying was suggested.Asterix wrote:This email thing doesn't make sense. It's an "un named source" so worthless. But the chance is there that it may have been sent, by a gormless rep of Manny, but seems a bit bizzare.....and team mayweather would not want to be showing it yet, with the chances the fight MIGHT still get made, as that would scupper his 30 mill payday right off.
Say he's right about Manny juicing, in theory...why wouldn't Manny just stop using for this one fight, for that huge payday?

Has the bit which I have highlighted ever been proven or is it just another anti-communist accusation by those retards on the other side of the pond?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Lets look at the facts

Many of the Soviet Block athletes have discussed their PED use, its pretty established factbanjo wrote: Has the bit which I have highlighted ever been proven or is it just another anti-communist accusation by those retards on the other side of the pond?
Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...
I'm not sure about Russia, but certainly when the wall came down in Berlin, they found Stasi files which basically confirmed that there was a government run, institutional doping program for althletes. It wasn't just a few. From what I gather, they were all doing it. Indeed, several have sued, because they genuinely didn't know what they were being given. In my view, it was actually a case where the athletes in some cases were innocent, despite being systematically doped.

You seriously never heard about Holy and the Evan Fields connection? I thought it was common knowledge that he was a PED user.Punchy Joe wrote:Holyfield used Performance enhancing drugs? that's news to me? all I heard is rumours, oh he has big muscles? oh then he must be taking steroids.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Lets look at the facts

East Germany was the world centre of drugs use in the 80s. Some horror stories of former athletes having health problems in later life.banjo wrote:Has the bit which I have highlighted ever been proven or is it just another anti-communist accusation by those retards on the other side of the pond?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Lets look at the facts
