Aint wasting No time with Craig Lyons, looks like a Tought fight for him this Early. His Opponent's Last 4 Opponents is of good quality. Only winning 1 but he was'nt Bad at all came over here and Beat Gary Reid just before that he Lost to Simone Maludrottu on a SD who had a Great fight with Munro. His last fight was against Malik Bouziane for the EBU bantamweight title lost on on points.. Malik Bouziane was the one that beat Napa. Just before that he lost for the Euro title again against Mohamed Bouleghcha who is the only one to beat Malik Bouziane. Before that was against Mahyar Monshipour who was WBA World super bantamweight title.... Much tougher then Foster's opponent who got KO'd in 3 by Don Broadhurst.... Looks a Good bill :TU:

Good fight for Lyons. Hatton promotions do need headline acts perhaps they pushing him quickly towards a title!

Anyone been to this venue before? Some Leisure Centres are fantastic venues, others are really poor, I've found. Views, atmosphere, facilities, parking etc.

Once I was at one and no-one had thought of providing drinks for sale- there was a coke machine- switched off!

Other's , like the one at Burton, I find really enjoyable places to watch boxing.

I wonder how much atmosphere the main event will have, seeing as neither fighter is local. Good fight, of course! Hopefully enough of the crowd will hang around to do it justice!

In fact, not many local fighters on that bill really at all.

No problem, of course, I judge a bill on it's quality of match ups- but I do notice that a lot of events tend to sell a lot of tickets to locals who come to see the "local boys."

Hope it goes well for them, anyway! :TU:

I know Altrincham well having once lived there and it's about 8-10 miles South of Manchester. It's available on train and is the last stop on the Manchester tram line, since the station is next to the leisure centre there's no need to stay in Altrincham which only has a few hotels (Cresta Court is biggest but there's little in the 40 quid a night region). Manchester is under 30mins on the Tram (Metrolink) and there's direct connections to Chester etc.

Going myself I appreciate that there isnt that many local boxers, but its a good show, pretty close & Norton v Dolan, Thompson v McIntyre & Samuels v Renda should all be great scraps!

I'd hope to go, but at the moment it's just not practical.

But as far as shows go, this looks top quality- hope it's a good one for tha Hattons.

If Joe Murray was with SN he'd be receiving rave reviews.
