Does anyone know what happened to the american boxer John White and his boxing career after he left Spain in the early 1970ies?

sorry - i came to this thread hoping to find a link between boxing and john white, the wonderful spurs inside left of the early 1960's tragically killed while seeking shelter beneath a tree during a storm. sadly, i dont think there is one.
