In defense of Mundine, its not easy to get anyone with good record to go to Australian with a weeks notice.

They do have some awful mismatches in Australia, usually some guy from the Philipines is brought over as a "gimmie" for the local talent.

its alot cheaper and easier than bringing someone form europe , cuts the cost by more than half.

What happened to Mundine's fight with Siaca? What did i miss :o I don't particuarly like Mundine too much as a person but as a fighter he has a lot of ability, if only he had a chin i really think he would be the best in this division. He dominated Echols and made him look one dimensional (although Echol's tactics were all wrong), he blasted away Nishizawa seven rounds earlier than Beyer and looked really fast and he was taking Ottke to school before he was stopped out of the blue. If only he could take a punch i think he would be right up there, a fight with Green has to happen.

I totally agree he has the best handspeed and footspeed in this division but no chin or heart.

Siaca pulled out injured. Apparently the latest is the New South Wales boxing authority refused to sanction the fight. So they've switched the fight to Gold Coast, Queensland. Out-fornicating-rageous - it wasnt sanctioned as this guy is a no hoper so they move the fight rather than replace him.

There’s a thread on the current scene that has clarifying info on this. :o

Just reading the numbers 9-7-1 is misleading;
It’s not about losing as much as who U lost to & how U lost. :TU:
All but 2 of Darmel’s fights have been on the road & many were controversial.
