A great fight!!? Harrison stood there just getting hit with jabs and left straights for most of the fight, how is that a great fight.

I had it 117-111, with two even rounds, had those gone to Harrison then it would have been 166-113, same as Coyle.

Whilst I have seen worse robberies, that doesn't make the decision a good one.

I'm of the same persuasion as those that thought Polo did enough to win the fight.

The fight was close on my card up until the start of the 7th round when Polo took over and outboxed and outpunched Harrison culiminating in an excellent 11th round in which Scott showed guts to hang in there.

I think Harrison can count himself fortunate to get a draw. Also I hope this has finally put Harrison's standing in the world scene in perspective.

Yes, Harrison had a good rounds 2-5, taking them all on my card. I had the 6th even I think, but after that Polo took over and I thought it was pretty one sided over the second half of the fight. Harrison took a pounding in the 11th, and although he tried to fight back, he looked perilously close to going down through exhaustion.

I do wonder whether the old weight making difficultites have resurfaced, because Harrison looked really shattered late in the fight.

I thought it was a great fight because I like gritty fights that have a bit of everything, some slugging, some silky skills, lots of heart, agression, controversy, like the scoring, whether it was a great fight or not in my opinion is something only I can decide.

Also in my opinion, I dont think there was a robbery.

I fail to see how that fight has 'a bit of everything' I thought it was a pretty boring fight all in all, but like you say, it's opinion, though I don't think controversial scoring makes a fight better.

That was my bad punctuation, the controversy was over some of the less sportsmanlike maneuvers, I was pointing out the socring was an opinion.

It wasn't an exciting fight at all, it played out pretty much exactly as I expected apart from Harrison tiring badly towards the end.
