Markussen-Tsypko off!

The highly anticipated Euro fight at 168lb, featuring unbeaten Vitali Tsypko (14-0; 8KOs) of Ukraine versus WBO #1 contender Rudy Markussen (29-1; 17KOs) of Denmark has been postponed due to a hand injury suffered by the defending European champ Markussen. The pair was supposed to clash for the European laurels and for the IBF #1 position at supermiddle on February 12 at the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany. The Sauerland-promoted show will go ahead anyway on the scheduled date, with an international tripleheader on top.

In a fight for the WBA-Intecontinental title, WBA #5 heavyweight Nicolai Valuev (39-0; 29KOs) of Russia will face game Attila Levin (29-2; 23KOs) of Sweden. In another heavy clash, former European champ Sinan Samil Sam (22-2; 15KOs) will defend his WBC-Int. belt against former Olympian Lawrence Clay-Bey (21-2; 16KOs) of the USA and middleweight KO artist Arthur Abraham (14-0; 14KOs) will duke it out versus Ian Gardner (18-1; 7KOs) for the WBA I/C crown at 160 lbs.

it´s better for the interested viewer of this fight. they would not have shown the fight., only some minutes. maybe it will be on the undercard for Beyer-Green. this would fit better anyway. Valuev, Sam and Abraham are more popular.

It sucks. Scandinavian TV bourght the right for the card since both Markussen and Levin was on it, if its only Markussen I doubt they will show it.

I have a friend that have ZDF and ARD, but they would only show highlights of Markussen vs Tsypko.
