If it comes over here i can't think of anyone with a good following who is no bigger than Welterweight that they could sell.
If they could get Witter's internet fans to show up to the venue, they'd be laughing.

I very much doubt it will be Ryan.

I don't think it will be any of them personally.... I don't think Floyd will fight in the UK.

However, lets play devils advocate and Floyd does come to the UK. I would say either of the Hattons (don't write it off being Ricky, who lets be honest has as good a chance as anyone from the UK at beating him). Matthew has the surname also.

Khan is the other outside bet, sacrificial lamb to further hype Pac vs May for the summer.

Not saying Ryan isn't as deserving, its all about the name.

Good move by team Rhodes - done nothing wrong in mentioning name, hasn't cost him anything and it brings some attention. At least he can known as the guy who "called out Floyd" - calling out fighters of Floyd stature has helped other fighters develop a name. I doubt Floyd is listening, but maybe Sergio Martinez is!!!! mmmm.... if I can beat the man who called out Floyd - I can call him out also.

Being European champion does not make you a credible opponent for one of the best fighters in the world. They are two completely different levels. Rhodes is more credible than Matthew Hatton, but there are dozens of better opponents out their for Floyd to face. I will be disgusted if he fights the likes of Rhodes, either Hatton, Malignaggi, or Campbell, when he could have fought Williams, Bradley, Pacquiao, Martinez, Mosley/Berto, etc.
They are not Europe based though, are they?

If he is coming over to Europe, it makes some level of sense to fight a European fighter.

I highly doubt Floyd will be fighting in Europe any time soon unless its a rematch with Hatton and the European fighters just are not at his level. There are far better options out there against the fighters I have mentioned. Maybe he can compromise by fighting one of them in Europe, but I doubt he will fight outside the states. Wishful thinking in my opinion.

Nothing is impossible in boxing.
This fight can be made - and if Pac Man can talk about challenging Yuri Forman why not Mayweather Rhodes ?
Hmm...I agree there to be honest. I think Rhodes has enough savvy, elusiveness and experience to at least give Floyd a few rounds before Pretty Boy decides to lower the boom.

Careful though - Mayweather will be fighting white-collar boxers next.

 Reminds me of when Takaloo was chasing Delahoya, that 1 had more chance of happening as they were in the same division
