My thinking is once week 10 arrives, we have them every 3 weeks, regardless of who is holding the belts. For instance if you happen to win the strap in week 12, and the mandatory was scheduled for week 13, you must defend against the #1 challenger right away. The reason this is a good idea is because with belts changing hands so often, if every new champ was given a 3 week window before a mandatory, we may never get one.
Thoughts?

Re: Mandatories
I assume that like last HW season, no one will be forced to face a GBP fighter as their mandatory. I would hope they would be given special permission and would NOT be forced to respond and WILL be issued a pass rather than be forced to face such brutality. Correct?
Though I must say that this season they would simply be outclassed, outpointed and chronically slapped in a highly embarrassing fashion for 15 relentless rounds. We have by choice guaranteed that they will not have to endure a Joe Frazier concussive style nearly fatal beatdown this season.
Can we get a confirmation on this "special waiver" status for the various fragile and "handy capable" beltholders? I believe it will go far to quiet any panic or anxiety attacks that some may be feeling with your overbearing and demanding edict.
FYI: Should MatthewS return to town, certainly he has earned the right not to have to face such consequences under any circumstances. He is the "Nebraska" of our little community.

I agree. If a new champion has to make a mandatory in his first defence then so be it.
