I am very sad and sorry to learn that Our Legend is died in Berlin.
No word more.

Very sad indeed. A truly great fighter but underappreciated and very underrated. He will be truly missed.

Very sad news.

The only man to beat a near peak Joe Louis, it gets no better than that.

I'm very sorry to hear this. Still reaching 99 is an incredible feat for any man, and especially for a heavyweight boxer who fought in the era and at the level that Schmeling did.

To whip some great fighter like Joe Louis like he did it is a very great accomplishment :TU: :TU: :TU:

A great fighter who led an increadible life, lets hope int the coming years he recieves his rightful recognition. May he rest in peace.
