Re: berto v mosely off
Sad to hear about berto and his family but mosely is the only opponent worthy of maywheather.dazzer wrote:berto has pulled out of the fight due to the earthquake in haiti, he has family members in haiti

His mind must be 100% right for taking on Mosely, so don't blame him for pulling out.
Re: berto v mosely off
Apparently his sister and daughter only just been found after going missing since it happened. Their home is totally gone and he has cousins and aunties dead.
No way he would have been focused.

No way! I was really looking forward to this. :(
My suspicious side is thinking maybe Mayweather vs Mosley soon?

Re: berto v mosely off
It's a shame the fight is off as I've been looking forward to it for some time. But given the circumstances, it's completely understandable Berto has decided to pull out. Hopefully they can still fight at some point down the line. Agree with Asterix - Mayweather- Mosley has to happen now!
Re: berto v mosely off
youve gotta feel sorry for berto
but it opens up the possibilty of flyod v mosely and berto can fight the winner down the line

It was a wonder it took so long.
Damn though, there is nothing on the UK TV schedule to excite me too much over the next couple of months now.

sky should show the jmm and gamboa card this wekend instead
Re: berto v mosely off
Totally agree that Mayweather should now fight Mosely, not really any excuses not to. Viable opponent, one that will shut up the doubters as people can argue that Shane being bigger and stronger is more of a challenge than manny anyway - certainly arguable.
Shane would agree in a heartbeat for short end money, take all the tests Floyd wants and jump through hoops to make the fight. This is an understandable decision by Berto and throws up a very interesting situation for Mr Mayweather.

Re: berto v mosely off
I can't wait for those fights! Both Juanma Lopez and and Gamboa are really exciting fighters, and they're facing very good opponents. The quiet man 2004 wrote:A sensibler thing wont be said all daydiggler wrote:sky should show the jmm and gamboa card this wekend instead
