Director Notes: Sylvester Stallone (Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Staying Alive, Paradise Alley) is interested in directing this film as well, if it ever happens. Stallone is signed to write and produce, but the directing duties will go to someone else (who hasn't been hired yet).

Screenwriter: Sylvester Stallone (Champs, the five Rocky films, Paradise Alley)

Budget Note: Sylvester Stallone told Entertainment Weekly that he has completed a script for the film, but the sticking point at this point is budget. He says MGM wants to only spend $10 million, but that he is holding out for more like a $20 million budget (that's for the whole film; not just his talents as actor/writer). Stallone said he's up for one more, but added "What are you going to do, wait 20 years? It's now or never." Stallone has apparently agreed to MGM's budget requests, because the budget is still in the $10-15 million range (which is very low-budget for a studio film).

Based Upon: If this film is made, it will be the sixth in the series of boxing films that started with Rocky in 1976, followed by II in 1979, III in 1982, IV in 1985, and V in 1990. This film will most likely be the last, if Stallone's comments above are accurate.

Premise: The story this time around has an aging Rocky Balboa (in his 50s) (Stallone) getting in the ring one last time as a fund raiser for the youth center he now runs. Comparisons to George Foreman's comeback have been made.

Filming: There is currently no production date for this film, but when it does get a greenlight, the budget will be in the $10-15 million range.

Rocky VI sees Rocky discover that Mickey (Burgess Meredith) is his father. He learns this from his estranged mother (Jean Claude van Dam) who he coincidentily meets whilst shopping for sun tan lotion. Rocky also learns, however, that he has an evil twin brother, Rocky the Robin, billionaire chocolate biscuit tycoon (played by himself.) The two do not hit it off, and Rocky the Robin challenges Rocky to a boxing match to settle their differences.

Adrian insists that Rocky visits a brain specialist. Again. Rocky visits the brain specialist. Again. Rocky is told not to fight. Again. Rocky fights. Again.

The USSR demands that the two Rocky's fight on Christmas day in Bethlehem. The bout takes place in a stable as the MGM grand arena is fully booked.

Whilst the evil Rocky trains using specialist equipment and performance enhancing wagon wheels, good Rocky must make do with training in heaven, where he is reunited with Mickey, Apollo, and Tommy Gun (who died in a boating accident on the river Severn, Notts.) who get Rocky to bench press 4000lb of silver lined clouds.

Back on earth, Rocky enters the stable with his cornermen Paulie (Burt Young) Ivan Drago (Dolf Lungren) and Bruce Forsyth (as himself)

Rocky the Robin begins the fight in determined mood, and starts lobbing grenades and mechetes at Rocky from the middle of the ring. Rocky is injured by a blowtorch in the 6th, and is floored by a 16 ton weight falling on him midway through the 9th. He takes nearly 8 seconds to get up. Rocky looks to be losing the match. Bruce Forsyth threatens to cut Rocky in two with a breadknife unless he promises to keep his left eyebrow (now on fire) protected and work the body.

Miraculously, Rocky floors Rocky the Robin with a sweet uppercut with minus 2 seconds of the 15th round remaining.

Everyone cheers, as not only does this miraculous victory move Rocky up to 8th in the WBU's rankings, but it also saves mankind from instant distruction.

The film ends humerously as Paulie chases Ivan Drago out of the arena, whipping his arse with a wet towel.
