Former World Lightweight Champion Phillip Holiday is listed to fight Samuel Colomban on the Cameron/Hopoate card in March.
Holliday was a good fighter in his day, but has not fought since 2003. He will be 40 this year. Is this wise?

Re: Phillip Holiday
I said he was training the house down on a previous thread. At 40 he is looking good sharp and fit better that some of the other boxers we have at the moment
( who was the doctor that said Carl Webb was fit to fight ) ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
Re: Phillip Holiday

Re: Phillip Holiday
If it makes money it makes sense I suppose
Re: Phillip Holiday
At least he is fighting what seams to be a fair match after decent preperation and not being dragged out of a long retirement with six weeks prep by Mundane.
Re: Phillip Holiday
am over mundine circus.rather coment on real fights. met phil when he was with bernie mccfadern & he seems to b a top bloke but thought he would of had more sence. "must b money"
Re: Phillip Holiday
I heard that he's coming back because of possible Lovemore fight, of course both are old stable mates from SAfrica and apparently there's a bit of bad blood.
Columban not a bad fighter, it will be interesting.
