I know this topic has been done before, but I thought I'd put a few fights into Title Bout 2.5 and see how they panned out. This is my version of the big 1990s heavyweight fights, with some real results, and my computerized results mixed in:

Lennox Lewis KO8 Mike Tyson - Tyson down twice in round 7. Scorecards read 69-62, 70-61 and 69-63, all to Lewis.

It was quite fun watching the results, although I strongly disagree with the third Lewis-Holyfield fight, no way Lewis beats Holy that easily in '98. I entered Tyson as being post-prime for all his fights, which were reflected in the results. I entered Lewis as pre-prime until 1996.

go down as they did. But fun all the same.

Throw in a Morrison v Moorer, Mercer vs Tyson, Mercer v Moorer,
McCall v Holyfield, Holmes v Foreman, Cooper v Ferguson, Tyson v Morrison,

and you would have had an epic decade.

Still a great decade for heavyweight boxing. Far better than what 2000's were still plenty of good fights seemingly in the nineties. Back then non championship fights like Grant v Golotta, Tua v Ike, Rahman v Maskev, Tua v Ruiz, were all free too. Now Tua v Cameron is ppv .

I think the early to mid 90's was the greatest era of heavy weights, in my opinion, with at least 10-15 heavies who could have beaten each other at any time, depending who was on their game on the day. such a rich pool of good heavy weights at that time.
