Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
exactly!
he hasn't beaten anybody yet. he is one of the most protected fighters atm. by the way i was only joking. i'm fully aware that this fight would not happen. although it would still be interesting to see how it would pan out. chavez has obviously got some decent level of skill, u don't rack up 40 fights without a loss if u r a very ordinary fighter.

How about Rubio, this would be a good introduction to the states for Geale and a very easy win for him as well.
Rubio is so slow and open, Geale would have a field day, plus Rubio just won another WBC eliminator against that guy who was trying to get a fight with BIka on this very forum from Mexico.
Edit; Alvaraz was the guy.
Any international opponent within the top 15 would be good.
Domestically; Soiman, Taliepai, Crampton.

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
No one domestically wants him unless for a title.
Sylvester is who he wants for IBF tItle.
I would like to see him fight someone like Barker before that.
I do think he could dominate Sturm also in a wide pts decision in germany or Oz.I think his bigger too.
He will not fight until May this year who ever the opponent.Id would love 4 fights at LEAST this year??!!![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
i like the idae of geale v chavez jr, not that it would ever happen. geale would make him look stupid imo
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
How about Geale v Talipeau?
Talipeau has shown he can stick with guys like Oganov and he was going to put a hurting on Hamdan if the cut didn't happen. It could be a good fight, Geale has 23 fights to Talipeau's 16 so it may not be out of the question...

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
^^ that sounds like a good idea. Is juniors future at MW though? I reckon he looked better at SMW to be honest.
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
If he can still comfortably make weight at this stage (I don't know if that's the case tbh) I reckon it would be a fight worth taking for him. You would have to think it would be a great springboard fight...
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Geale vs Talipeau. What great fight, Talipeau would still have a couple of fights at middle weight, seeing as he's Aus champ and all. The fight would be great for Australian boxing.
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Imagine arguably the two best Aussie middleweights actually fighting for the Aussie Middleweight Title!!!
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
That would be a first, at least in my time!

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Geale would be to skillful and classy for Junior.Ud or late Ko To Geale.Geale should take a fight like that a couple fights like that
before hunting Sylvester!
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Unless Geale's power has improved there will be no TKO nor KO. But I think Geale should be too classy. Great fight though.Liver Crusher wrote:Geale would be to skillful and classy for Junior.Ud or late Ko To Geale.Geale should take a fight like that a couple fights like thatbefore hunting Sylvester!

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Disagree there Toppers,I think Geale could do more weights etc to get a bit more power..however I dont think his power atm rule's out a KO BY him
He has a few KO'S to his name.

13 to be exact:Liver Crusher wrote:Disagree there Toppers,I think Geale could do more weights etc to get a bit more power..however I dont think his power atm rule's out a KO BY him

Ian MacKillop 165½ 25-10-3 KO 1
Lee Oti 158½ 9-6-0 KO 2
Sonni Michael Angelo 158¾ 10-3-0 TKO 4
Timo Masua 165 14-11-0 KO 4
Garry Comer 156¾ 13-6-1 TKO 2
Garry Comer 153 13-5-1 KO 8
Steve Douet 152¼ 8-8-0 TKO 2
Domenic DeVanna 157 4-2-0 TKO 1
Peter Rolph 162½ 6-6-1 KO 1
Sean Connell 152½ 4-1-0 TKO 3
Bruce Glozier 167¼ 1-1-1 KO 1
Domenic DeVanna 158½ 4-1-0 TKO 2
Danny Bellert 158½ 16-11-0 KO 3
Not a single one of them even close to Talipeau's class and not a single one of them would worry Talipeau.
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
I think your delusional. Geale has not beaten one world class opponent, let alone Sturm, who is without a doubt the best guy in the division with the exception of Pavlik.Liver Crusher wrote:

You'd also have to knock him out to get a draw in Germany.crusader wrote:I think your delusional. Geale has not beaten one world class opponent, let alone Sturm, who is without a doubt the best guy in the division with the exception of Pavlik.Liver Crusher wrote:

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
Geale will step up to better opponents as per Mundine fight!! And the Mundine fight will have improved his confidence a great deal!!
He would destroy Junior!!
Geale would out class Sturm in any country, yes I know the judges are very bias in Germany!
Marlin whats your problem with Geale mate??seriously!

Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
No problem with Geale, I'm just trying to keep it real.
Re: GEALES NEXT MOVE ???
If Mundine hadn't of dropped Geale in that fight the scores all would have been with the other side, we could have seen a title defence by now and probably almost have forgotten about that yapping idiot from Redfern. I couldn't see Mundine stepping up to Geale again as it is a real danger for keeping his record intact. There is no way Mundine would beat Geale in a rematch, although I would love to see it.

Zack Page, an American, won a decision in Germany this month, against a German.
