Don't know who trained him in Samoa, Titahi Bay boxing guru Chris Kenny trained him in NZ & is now gutted 'cos he had plans for him in this year's Commonwealth games
Don't know who trains Soi, but I'm sure a couple of forum members will will let you know.

AntonS wrote:If I remember correctly, Waru was out cold for 5+ minutes in his last fight. If Leti is as good as they say, Waru might be in for a longer nap
Will be good to see some fresh blood in the NZ boxing scene, hope Leti puts up a good performance...
He was supposed to make his debut at the MGM grand but instead at the ABA... In any event he has 4 managers or something like that....
Great talent....should have boxed at Commonwealth games and then on to an Olympic games before turning pro. Then again the supposed 4 managers should know better.....

Will be at the ABA on Sat to watch the Commonwealth Trials of NZ if keen for results.

yes... he was supposed to have been signed up by US promotions giant, so guess that never happened instead he makes his debut in Auckland. NZ missed out on a potential Olympic medal...quite possibly....

Not sure what the "bother is". "Injury" apparently....in any event it would have been against the guy he fought before-- a bum. So it being a non event is no great tragedy...
