Gomez was quoted as saying if scott moved up he'd need to go through him... does anyone else think this fight would be a barn burner, who plays into whos hands? I doubt either boxer can box on the outside effectively enough to keep the other off so surely it goes down to power. Whilst Gomez is naturally fighting at the bigger weight scott may be suited better at super feather.
Im going to pick gomez as I still believe he is one (along side witter and arguably danny williams) of the most improved boxers in the uk over the last 24 months.

come on mate gomez to beat harrison,i think if it was to take place it would be a great fight,but
it would only last 3 or 4 rounds with harrison kicking the shit out of gomez
just remember a bum like laszlo bognar beat gomez

Yeah, but didnt Gomez batter f*ck out of a very highly touted Alex Arthur. Perhaps the Arthur fight shows that when Gomez recognises a challenge he rises to it.

i.e The night before the Kevin Lear fight Gomez was out on the piss alnite, thinking that the fight would be a walk-through - result Lear W Gomez.

I think it will be interesting, Harrison often relies on being physically stronger than his opponent and his good engine. That is why he has been so successful. Would he have these advantages over Gomez? I don't know.

I don't think it would last long, but wouldn't like to call it any way.

I think the difference is Harrison has been operating at a higher level than Gomez. He has fought world class fighters, Gomez's best win is over Arthur at British title level. Gomez should be attempting to get a rematch with Arthur which is his level but he seems to be pricing himself out of that one.
