This hasn't been a good month for pull-outs/cancellations for the sport. Williams is now out, Berto had to cancel a scheduled fight with Mosley & we learned that for the time being, there is Mayweather vs Pacquiao!

I am 100% sure Haye never will!

And there is a very good chance Larry will - maybe not next month, but one day.

Williams could get seriously hurt in the Ring, but certainly not against Derek Chisora , trust me on that.

Get Skelton in there against Del Boy, but don't make it for the British.
Sexton should be the man to fight for that title if it becomes vacant.

ok .. bad choice of words for man who took licks against Klitschko. But he clearly didn't fancy it. He has had his day and should ride off into the sunset.

Would I be too much of a conspiracy theorist to wonder if, after it has happened SO many times, it might actually be on purpose, i.e. a business strategy? Absolutely load a fight bill, have fans going "fair dos, he's really delivered this time", have them snap up tickets, but by the night it barely resembles what was originally announced, yet most people are probably not bothered enough to pursue a refund.

OK, this is a sport in which these things happen and we just have to accept that. But it happens SO often with one particular promoter, SO much more than with any rival organisations in the same country, that I honestly have started to wonder if its intentional.

And before any legal types jump on this, I have not alleged or claimed anything, only spoke my thoughts and questions. As a fan and as someone who has paid this company before (and watched on TV, which also constitutes being a consumer), I'm entitled to ask.

I agree with you Oliver.

As I have tickets for this show then I feel entitled to state my opinion. Me and my mate purchased tickets for this show weeks ago before the majority of decent match ups started to crumble. What is left now hardly resembles what was first advertised (and what tickets were sold on) so I've contacted allegedly promotions to ask if refunds are available.

This is about the third or fourth of his promotions in a row where I've had tickets and felt let down. So simple action to take is I won't buy tickets for any more of his promotions (have said that before but this time will stick to it...)

In contrast, have attended many shows staged by other promoters who, yes have their share of pull outs, but not to this extent and generally offer better value for money.

You really do have to wonder. In my wisdom I bought mine and a mates tickets in advance, havent been to a show for a while (both financial and time constraints) and thought the depth of the card made it worth the outlay. The bill has since been decimated and I'm stuck with two tickets to a show nobody seems to give a toss about. I wish they would do the decent thing and cancel the cursed show so that ticketmaster will refund my tickets, as I'm apparently stuck with them otherwise. Unless anyone else knows different...?
