He should have a warm up, then accept a "stepping stone" fight for some up and coming prospect. He can then proceed to kick arse and get himself a softer shot ( see Brewster ).

There's always a few fat, overrated, undermotivated heavy propects floating around to fit the bill ( see Guinn, Nobles etc ).

Then there's always Golota of course - even on Danny's worse night, the Pole would probably get sick of hitting him and vault out of the ring.

Tony Sibson found himself in a similar position a few years back: humiliated in a world title shot, he was brought in as the fall guy for the rising American star John Collins.
Sibbo then ambushed the guy and wacked him out in 2 rounds.

Career: back on course.

That was agaisnt Vitali though, Brewster is nowhere near Vitali's level. Golota would probably beat Danny, but his workrate these days is not as high as it was in his prime, and Danny could beat him if he hung around.

I don't think that Danny could beat Klitchko if they met again, but losing to the guy isn't the end of the world, depends if Danny wants to take a risk again and get himself back into the heavy picture, If he can get a win against a name opponent, then one of the other title holders might see him as a easy win, and risk there title against him in a voluntary defense. Have to see what shape he comes back in , and whats left after the Klitchko beating.

In reality Williams is the same Williams who got battered by Samil San and outpointed by Sprott and Francis. On the back of the Tyson win people thought he was world class but the Klitschko fight merely re-emphasised he's a domestic level fighter at best.

I'd pick any genuine top 10 heavyweight to beat him. Brewster he has a chance against but he's surely going to lose against Golota.

Whatever you think of Ruiz, he would pummel Williams to defeat I have no doubts about that and Byrd would make him look ridiculous. That'll all the titles then.

People need to face the fact that Williams has never even won a European title let alone World and I doubt he will ever win either.

He should fight bums until he gets a potential 7figure sum to re-match Tyson. Its a big payday for him. Fights with Audley/Skeleton would be entertainingand winable too.

If I was him I'd get Mikes people on the blower and offer to take a dive against Tyson in April for £1m. It'll increase Tysons stock value, Williams gets a payday and goes back to the British scene to make Skeleton even more ugly
