If Witter and Hatton, Witter is Hattons IBF Mandatory

Just looking at the IBF ranks and Hattons the madatory followed by Ndou. If Witter beats Ndou that should make him the IBF mandatory. Hatton and Zoo should fight for the IBF and WBC-Super belts. I tip Zoo to win in 1-2 rounds but if Hatton does do the impossible and Zoo grows old overnight we may finally see whos the best at 140 in the country. Just a response to some people who ask where will Witter go post Ndou. I'm not sure if he'll also jump ahead of Branco in the WBC rankings.

mmmm Interesting, I am certain that should Hatton win, Junior Witter will recieve a phone call soon after. I honestly believe that was Warren's plan with them. Unfortunately, Junior quite rightly got frustrated and jumped ship.

However, I think its still could happen, there has been no official word that Witter has signed anything more formal that a fight by fight contract with Hennessey (which was the original agreement, if I am led to believe). Witter has certainly been vocal saying he can quite easily fight Hatton.

Mr Nutrition, with Mayweather is a spot of bother with the law, I still think there is a good chance that Gatti might fight Branco (current number 1) next and therefore leaving Witter as the number 1. However, can't see Gatti fighting another mandatory after that for at least another 12 months.

I think Witter will win, I very much doubt Hatton will. Witter definitely deserves to be ahead of Branco who's obviously bottled it.

I don't think anyone wants to see Branco-Gatti again do they? I think someone will pay who needs to be payed to let Mayweather make his millions. Plus with Branco being pulled out I think he may drop down the ranks.

I very much doubt HBO will go for Gatti v Branco after their last fight so scrap that idea!

Does anyone know if Showtime/HBO really hate Witter because of his showing against Judah? I heard no-one will show Ndou-Witter. Thats 1 fight I missed anyway did he look that bad? At least he went the distance.

Witter wanted Hatton for 4 years but hatton fought vilches/smith/pederson instead because he is afraid of Witter.

It was an absolute Snooze fest, think Nelson vs De Leon and you have good guess about Witter's performance. After an okay start, Witter went into survival mode.

The British TV people (Watt / Mcguigan etc) were full of praise for Witter, expecially given his lack of notice and IMO Witter did somewhat expose Judah as he was perplexed as to how he can handle Witter. However, the fight stank and the US people blamed Witter (who was to blame) and never fogiven him.

I believe Showtime have shown a few Witter blow outs since, but the opposition was so poor he was still criticised.

I do believe they will show the fight, mainly because N'dou is exciting fighter who I think has a decent appeal stateside.

Maybe or maybe just the old risk reward ratio. In the business sense they haven't needed Witter to get a title shot or get extra money. If and when Witter has more to bring to the table than Hatton it will happen. Witter needed to make his own name and he now is doing it slowly but surely.

From the legacy/fighters pride perspective it stinks but money comes first. If you were Hatton or Warren Lirva risking £500k a fight shows against Witter you wouldn't take it either.

If it is shown stateside it should make a Witter title shot sellable.

Hatton will only fight Witter when

a) He get's a testicle transplant
b) He NEEDS Witter.

ie. Hatton has been beat and Witter has a title.

Witter cant put in a similar performance to his fight with Judah.. that just wont fly with the Yanks. To make an impression over there he needs to beat up N'dou, if he cant KO him then he needs to just put on a sustained beating for 12 rounds. He isnt fighting in some leisure centre, he will be on a big bill in the U.S against a legit top 10 fighter in N'dou.

If Witter sensationally blows N'Dou out in a round or 2 then they will probably show it.
