Nice one Buncey! Looking forward to Oisin speaking.
Re: BBC London 94.9 - Thursday 8pm.
i think julius got about 25k for that stunt, and the fact people still talk about it to this day proves that it was the right thing to do.
Re: BBC London 94.9 - Thursday 8pm.
buncey tell kalle, hurry up sort that venue out, us brits want the fight in copenhagen and it does not matter his guy will still get beat.
also ask him will there be any other brits fighting on the bill, if yes who

Re: BBC London 94.9 - Thursday 8pm.
I recorded it earlier.
I've got no real problem with the logo on the boots.
I never asked him.
Kalle comes close to agreeing the venue.
Adios and thanks.

Re: BBC London 94.9 - Thursday 8pm.
It depends on what Julius' mindset was going into the fight I suppose. If he was pumped up, ready to go to war, he might have thought, "I aint going down, I am gonna give Mike a proper fight - he isnt the fighter he once was. If you want to pay me 25k for an advert no one will see, its you paper boys who are the mugs" Remember, Julius hadnt regressed into journeyman mode at this point in his career. As it turns out it was a cracking ploy from the paper and money well spent on their part...MachoMan09 wrote:Buncey, not sure if the programme is pre-recorded or not. If it isn't; I have always wanted to ask Julius if he regrets putting the Daily Mirror advert on the soles of his shoes when he fought Tyson. To me that was a shamefully defeatist thing to do. I would like to know if, with hindsight, he realised he was being mugged off when he agreed to do that?Buncey wrote:Julius Francis on his life in the heavyweight world..
I too would be interested in hearing Julius' thoughts on the subject.
