Mugger picks wrong bloke
A mugger who tried to rob an 88-year-old man had the tables turned when his victim turned out to be a former boxing champion.
The German grandfather, Gerhard Brinkmann, was at a cemetery when the robber tried to steal his wallet and watch.
"I was visiting a friend's grave when a young, long-haired man came up to me and demanded I hand over my money," he said.
"I told him to come closer if he wanted it and as he did I landed a full-force right hook on his chin."
The punch thrown by Mr Brinkman, a German lightweight boxing champion in 1936, left the mugger unconscious. When he regained consciousness a little later, he fled.
"He remained unconscious for a short while and I called the police, but he pulled himself up and fled before they got here," the boxing champion said.
"I might still be able to put up a good fight, but unfortunately I can't run like I used to."
Police in Halberstadt, north Germany, are looking for the man, believed to be in his 20s.

There's a similar story about Archie Moore, someone tried to the old fake police uniform trick in Nigeria, looking for a bit of baksheesh, and got a backhander instead. Think Archie was in his mid 60's at the time. Probably would have been one of the hardest 65 year old of all time, seeing as he only retired in his 50's and was an undisputed champion at 49. That guy must have got a fornicating shock.

hahahahaha
Has to be the single FUNNIEST story of all times.
Dropped by an 88 year old man... how embarrassing! The mugger must have had no chin at all. When I read that I just imagined some little youth punk trying to steal a bag from Tsyon when Tyson is 88 and an 88 year old Tyson whopping his candy ass!
