They mentioned it on the ESPN show last night - sounded like a done deal.
Potentially tough fight for lil Floyd.

I think a better opponent than manny pacmans. But both evenly matched contests .. great for the sport :TU:

Lets just hope the pacman gets over his fear of needles to make the real fight we want to see ...

 I wanted to see this over the Pacman fight because Mosley is bigger/stronger but probably less gas in the tank

Excellent fight! If Sugar Shane is on form he could push him close, it's the best fight Mayweather has been in for along while IMO

Shane won't beat him, if PBF thought SSM had a chance he wouldn't fight him.

On 2nd thoughts..Split decision win for PBF.

PBF
117-111
118-110 and
108-120 (Dave Parrish card scoring for Mosley).

Only late on due to fatigue, but I seriously doubt it.

I've seen almost every one of Mayweather and Mosley's fights over the last ten years, but still feel i need to re-watch several of Mosley's last few outings before making a solid predicition.

However, my initial thoughts are leaning in favour of Mayweather, and somethings telling me he 'might' just have an opportunity to shine here, but i'm hoping my mind set changes when i get down to analyzing this fight in depth as i'd love for Mosley (or anyone) to beat him. I've had enough of him to be honest, he's not a people's champion, he is only really interested in making money and protecting his zero. If he beats Mosley, he might then fight Pacquiao, and assuming for a moment he wins them both, i'd be confident those would be his last 'real' challenges before he retires. Then he'll he'll be a subject of debate that will last forever, was 'he' the greatest boxer ever to enter the squared circle! Fcuk i hope he gets beaten!

If Mayweather beats Mosley and Pac beats Clottey then the winner of the Pac v PBF fight surely must be the greatest P4P fighter of all time and certainly the greatest welterweight of all time.

Not sure about either of those claims. Neither of the two will have achieved as much at the weight - or in general - as Sugar Ray Robinson. The winner will definitely belong in the top 20 though. It'll take a while before perspective will allow us to place them any higher than that.
