Choi Tseveenpurev?
Choi Tseveenpurev?
Is this guy ever going to get a meaningful fight? Or is he still being avoided?

Pak choi black bean puree has indeed gone back to Mongolia.
I think it was a visa issue with his mrs too.
Shame as he looked like a mini Kostya Tszyu.

I see you're an expert on Mongolian food. Or is that all Oriental people are "the same" and eat Chinese food?G0mez wrote:Pak choi black bean puree has indeed gone back to Mongolia.

Wasn't Spencer Fearon trying to get him back over?MatthewS wrote:think hes gone back to Mongolia... either he or his wife werent allowed to stay here... i could be wrong thoughrmz wrote:Is this guy ever going to get a meaningful fight? Or is he still being avoided?
Re: Choi Tseveenpurev?
Think Fearon brought him over to London to fight in July which he won. Obviously problems arose after this.JamesH wrote:Wasn't Spencer Fearon trying to get him back over?MatthewS wrote:think hes gone back to Mongolia... either he or his wife werent allowed to stay here... i could be wrong thoughrmz wrote:Is this guy ever going to get a meaningful fight? A shame indeed, as he was a talented fighter, and an excited fighter.

Boxrec still has his residence as Oldham, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
From reading fellow posters in this topic it seems he is no longer in the UK. Anyone know if he is to continue boxing? At 38 he needs to get a move on, he looked good against Derry Matthews but has been pretty inactive since then which is a great shame.

Why has Choi not become a British citzen, he surely would win Briitish title.

Re: Choi Tseveenpurev?
On Bunce's show a few months ago, Spencer Fearon said that Choi was going over to the States to fight for the WEC (The Zuffa owned MMA promotion which concentrates on the lower weight classes). He said that Choi was going to fight at MMA flyweight (125 lbs). Since then, I think the WEC have shelved their plans to introduce a flyweight division.
Re: Choi Tseveenpurev?
They are hoping to bring it in this year.
