Its not on the promoters website but has been in the papers with quotes from Danny, he has a 'cold'.

Did you notice how quickly the same promoters website was updated after the press conference Danny didn't show up to?

Danny Williams will again show he's a loser, I dont care know about the fight when he had a dislocated shoulder for the British, he needs to put himself in the eyes of the fans.

If he does pullout is it going to be Del Boy v Skelton again?

Absolutely load a fight bill, have fans going "fair dos, he's really delivered this time", have them snap up tickets, but by the night it barely resembles what was originally announced, yet most people are probably not bothered enough to pursue a refund.

OK, this is a sport in which these things happen and we just have to accept that. But it happens SO often with one particular promoter, SO much more than with any rival organisations in the same country, that I honestly have started to wonder if its intentional.

And before any legal types jump on this, I have not alleged or claimed anything, only spoke my thoughts and questions. As a fan and as someone who has paid this company before (and watched on TV, which also constitutes being a consumer), I'm entitled to ask.

You really do have to wonder. In my wisdom I bought mine and a mates tickets in advance, havent been to a show for a while (both financial and time constraints) and thought the depth of the card made it worth the outlay. The bill has since been decimated and I'm stuck with two tickets to a show nobody seems to give a toss about. I wish they would do the decent thing and cancel the cursed show so that ticketmaster will refund my tickets, as I'm apparently stuck with them otherwise. Unless anyone else knows different...?

Night of champions my hole.
you could always sell them on to me for half price, if your interested????????????

I think the Cleverly fight is much better than the Brook one. Can't see how "decimated" is fair. Still got DeGale, Gavin and Mitchell.

Beats the hell out of that joke show Matchroom are putting on Sky from Glasgow tomorrow. Whoever approved that as a TV show should be sacked.

Agree about Cleverly fight being better than Brooks replacement scrap but I bought tickets because I wanted to see Brook fight Jennings, Williams fight Sexton, and Skelton fight Chisora. Jennings pulled out, Brooks fight moved, then Chisora stepped up for Danny, costing us the Skelton fight. Then it was Danny playing the hokey-cokey in terms of whether he was going to fight, eventually deciding not to. Kevin Mitchell, well I had hoped for one of the big names being touted as potential opponents but its a fair enough match really. But British vs Commonwealth heavyweight title fight replaced with not very likeable prospect vs hastily arranged call up is a bit much for the night of champions.

More than half the card has changed, perhaps decimated was a bit strong but its fallen apart at the very least. I like and rate the olympians but Billy Joe is still injured and two 6 round fights don't make a summer (despite being decent matches at this stage in their careers).

I quite like Nathan Cleverly and will no doubt cheer him on the night but I dont think the card is anywhere close to as competitive as initially announced. A large part of it is probably that im still gutted about Jennings Brook falling through... shit happens i suppose

Of course I'll go, but I'll be extremely cautious in buying tickets until the week of the fight in future.

Brook-Jennings, Williams-Sexton, Chisora-Skelton and Cleverly-Brancallion reduced to just ONE of those fights? I think decimated is more than fair when you've only got 25% of the big fights left intact. I know Mitchell is still on, and has always been vs TBA, but that in itself was not the draw, and neither were the Olympians or the Walshes in routine affairs.

Defending this card is laughable. Not a competitive fight on the card.

The olympians are just mild amusement whilst they are put up against such patsy's.

Mitchell and cleverly also fight rubbish opponents.

Warrens a cowboy.

Sounds like thats because they couldn't sell it in italy. The cheapest ticket for this event is £40 plus a retarded booking fee. What a joke.

Then it's NONE of three rather than one of four. Is "decimated" still unfair?
