Post by bobmee »

For those who want to know. Eurosport tape shows, 1st broadcast. As always if they follow live sport, they could be pushed back. I won't know that in advance. Fight below is the main event. There will be undercard shown.
Tuesday 2nd: Joseph Agbeko-Yonnhy Perez 8.00
Saturday 6th: Joachim Alcine-Christophe Canclaux, 8.55
Sunday 7th: Victor Fonseca-Al Seeger, 7.30
Tuesday 9th: Jean Pascal-Adrian Diaconu, 8.00

On the al seeger card, gary russell jr fought david orosco cano,
I know showtime didn't show it (only clips )
but did they record the whole fight and if so
will eurosport show it, bob.
I think this is a special fighter in the making. !

Thanks for that Bob really enjoy your shows :TU:

Some good stuff there

The only thing that narks me a little is that sometimes they go under the radar regarding schedules etc

Thanks for these comments. If I'm anywhere near a computer when I find out what undercards are being shown, I'll try to alert you, but I don't always know myself.
I understand that there is also a re-run of the David Tua-Shane Cameron fight tonight (Wednesday) that went out a couple of weeks ago, if anyone missed it.

hey bob nice to see eurosport continue to show fights from all over the world.

i'm just wondering who they have live fight deals with now? i remember a while back they had boxing on tuesday's or wednesdays quite regularly but it seems they only have arena box now, is that true?

All the deals are done in Paris. They have had a deal with Arena, but I hear Arena have signed something elsewhere. That's what tends to happen, a deal lasts a while (like the Sauerland one, and one with Gerard Tesseyron in France) and then there's a lull before something else happens, but in a way I enjoy the unpredictability and the variety of it & it's good to get American and Canadian stuff on delay. Sorry not to be more specific but I'm just hired from job to job. There will be a break after this run of dates because of the blanket coverage of the Winter Olympics.
