Why is there a plot to thicken mate?
It's a Hayemaker show.
The undercard will be announced shortly.

Hayemaker do not have many fighters left Dave - not being b*tchy with that comment and people like George are signed to Maloney Promotions - maybe Mr Maloney does not mind him boxing on another promoters show.

In addition - Ryan Rhodes I am told is not assigned to promoter - he is promoter free.

The reason for my "plot thickens" comment is down to - with all due respect what fighters do Hayemaker have to be able to fill a "World Heavyweight Title Show" - the first such show since Lennox fought Francois Botha back in July 2000 - are you stating Hayemaker has fighters to fill an undercard like Panix Promotions did at that time - please remember that particular show had:

Wladimir Klitschko v Monte Barrett
Scott Harrison v Tom "Boom Boom" Johnson
Adrian Stone v Geoff McCreesh
Clinton Woods v Gregg Briggs
David Walker V Billy Smith

Amongst other fights - are you stating the undercard is going to be filled with quality fights like that of the above made up of solely Hayemaker fighters?

At present it is very pleasing too see so many tickets flying out solely on David's name - but - to fill the arena - sorry I do not think that will happen unless you name the undercard and do so now - when was the last time a show was announced with absolutely no mention at all of the undercard or at least the Chief Support fight?

That said, maybe it's the type of show with a limited undercard, with the appeal/sale of the show being largely based on the Main Event.

With any "bumper" undercard, few fans watch it all- many good bouts are fought in front of an arena 10% or less full.

If it's on Sky PPV, is presume they have to come up with 3 hours of television worthy boxing.

Although watching McAllister on TV now, that doesn't say much. Amazing that John Murray can't get a fight yet Sky stick on that rubbish for live TV.

Probably, what 11pm? Its not going to be one of these 2am jobbies, I don't think.

Haye's 2 am O2 fight was a bloody nightmare logistically - although still remains a magical evening in my memory.

well if the decent undercards start at 8 thats perfect for me.

Agreed the McAllister fight was pants but to be fair at least he appologised to the paying fans and didnt claim he was the best boxer in the world like tyson fury lol.

Why is everyone so concerned about the undercard, David is defending his title here in the UK, just be grateful we have a world heavyweight champ that defends here,
There will be a good undercard, Groves and Maguire will be on, it will be a sell out,
