The headline is stupid, he didn't spell 'Britian' wrong, he spelt that perfectly fine, he misspelt Britain.

I do agree. I even think politicians' private lives should be no consideration when voting, but you see how much fuss is kicked up when one has an affair. But it does suggest, at the very least, not paying attention to detail, and as I said, mistakes of any sort will be jumped all over by opponents.
