I've just heard that David Haye might be fighting this guy in March;

Is this the truth? Anyone know?

I haven't got a clue but it would not surprise me as the guy has a good record - going 6 and a bit rounds with RJJ is not bad at all!

Is Haye staying at Cruser or going upto HW. Its a terrible fight if hes going upto HW. Glen Kellys reasonable for a Cruser opponent although small and will be blown out.

Haye is still a cruiser, he came in heavy against Delaney.

I think Haye moving up to heavyweight is a pointless decision at this point in his career. He's hardly dominated the cruiser division, has he?

Its only a rumour I saw on another site, dunno if it's true. I wouldn't mind him fighting him though, wouldn't be a bad fight.

Seems like a good fight to me he can't be critisised for taking that, the opponent is KOible but has plenty of expireance. However could anyone tell me what the OPBF title is?

It still strikes me as strange that Haye never fought Hobson though that would be a cracking match up of styles.

I think the OPBF title covers the Oceania and Pacific areas, as Kelly is an Aussie he is eligible to fight for these sort of titles. If he is to be Haye's next opponent then i think this is a fantastic fight. Kelly may have been toyed with by Roy Jones but i mean Jones is a great fighter and Kelly was seriously overrawed and intimidated going into the fight and got beat up. Kelly was a bin man by trade going into fight the P4P No. 1 in America.

He was blasted away in 4 rounds by Paul Briggs with a massive overhand right, that was a needle match and it was competetive until Briggs landed and he has world class power IMO.

Kelly came back as a Cruiserweight and has chalked up three wins since albeit against low grade opposition, i am going on record as saying this is a good fight for Haye if the rumours are indeed true :TU: Which i doubt they are :D
