Ringside is back!!

Post by KOJOE90 »

I've noticed that there is a Ringside Special on next Friday SS1 at 10pm. According to their web-site they are doing a feature on Anthoney Farnell. T
hey are also inviting viewers to e-mail them questions.

Farnell? I wonder if they will give a single mention of the Eastman fight. Yeah they aren't showing it but it would show a bit of class if they done some sort of preview.

Well they did mention it in the end if only very briefly.

From what we saw of Tony Oakey he has some work to do to get himself back into title contention.

But it was nice to have Ringside back.

It would be nice if there was a boxing show which did just roundups and followed ALL the action. A highlight show if you like, that wasn't affiliated to any particular broadcaster. An impossible dream I know.

Very true, promoters at times just seem to be extentions of TV companys these days, or the other way around.

Had the same thought during the closing minutes of this broadcast.

It's a very blurred distinction for sure, especially where you have a situation where a broadcaster has a contract with only a single promoter.
