degale just will not be put in this fight at this point. its complete boolsheet from Booth presumably either (a) so they can try to say Degale is ducking or (b) build up some ghey rivalry between them to sell it better somewhere along the line.

that booth should try to imply he was 'seriously' trying to make this fight, as in, making an offer he really thought had any chance of success, is one of the more contemptibly misleading press statements I've seen in a while.

ive read today though that warren has said the offer was made but he said he wants to get de gales next fight done before listening to what they have to offer .

As if this is going to happen, absolutely pointless. Good PR tho from Hayemaker, will get people talking more about Groves.

I'm sure Frank is still licking his wounds from when he put Enzo in with Haye, i can't see him making that mistake again, especially now Khan has left him, way to risky, Degale won't be fighting guys of Groves caliber for at least 18 months.

not a cat in hell's chance. Why's Degale going to take 50 grand to get beat when he's a millionaire already?

Is he a Millionaire? O would hope he is but do not think so. Signing on fees surely are subject to income tax and NI etc? Dobt he got £1M signing on fee and if he did...well done!

DeGale / Warren will not take the fight, Warren doesnt really have any massive names left except DeGale so I doubt he would risk his undeafeted record on a fight he doesnt need to make.
