I go with team michigan on all of the except for 165. Chris P is with NMU. And with J love going pro we have no one at 165 who can be Chris. So NMU wins at 165.

Chris P is a good, young boxer and has a good Dad, but don't underestimate Brandon Larvadain and a few other MI boxers at 165. Further, Chris has to defeat his own teammate at NMU.
This sounds like a good competition and it would be fun to have it happen. I like the Lower MI vs Upper MI theme. I have always enjoyed it when different state teams compete. We should try for MI vs WI, MI vs OH and MI vs IL team competitions. They could be competitive. NMU would just have to decide if they are going to be part of MI or part of WI (as they do for the NGG).

Brandon may be getting but I feel if Jay love didn't turn pro then brandon will still be trying to make it out the States. Then we he did make it out he could not make it to the national. Chris will easily beat brandon.

Maybe the USOEC boxers will get their chance to test their mettle against the boxers from the Lower Penninsula at the 2010 State Games of Michigan over the weekend of June 25-27, 2010. More information will be forthcoming about the State Games in the next month or two. Only 4 boxers per weight class will be competing in the state tournament and it will be the best boxers available in the state. In some weight classes (152) that may be hard to decide, but in others say 108, 114 and 123 it may be hard to find 4 boxers per class.
