Well, I just made it 12 and 12.

It is close, but I just see GF getting Louis out. Especially if he is allowed to shove Louis away.

Another case of a fight that could well swing the other way IF it got to the early middle rounds.

I don't think either man would last that long, IMO.

The first to land hard, telling blows consecutively is gonna get the other one outta there, & I don't see it headed toward the mid-rounds before that happens.

I see it as 3 rounds, with GF taking the Brown Bomber out. The Louis hope would be to get a real shot in before Big George unloads the wood. That was also Frazier's hope, maybe getting inside and really landing a big body punch to hurt GF early.

I just watched Foreman and Norton. Got to say that that version of Foreman had to be one of the most intimidating looking dudes I've ever seen, especially coming off the Frazier fight.

Curious that sort of awkward, cautious two handed reaching out to feel his prey early in rd one with Norton, then the more aggressive approach.

Yes, for all his so-called fundamental errors, very few men in history would ever have escaped his early-rounds assault, just as few did in his actual career. Hey, a hurricane is imprecise & indiscriminate in the carnage it wreaks, too.

Doesn't mean it won't get you.
